FEMA Contracting Specialist Khadijeh A. Abdullah Set to
Speak at the Nuts and Bolts Educational Conference

The PSAI is pleased to announce that
Khadijeh A. Abdullah will be our FEMA
Workshop speaker on Saturday,
November 19.
Khadijeh A. Abdullah is currently a
FEMA Region 6 Contracting Officer and
LBTT, Local Business Transition Team
member, assigned as a dedicated
resource for Stafford Act compliance
and outreach.
In her workshop titled "Working with FEMA and Local Agencies for Disaster Response," Ms. Abdullah
will cover:
• How FEMA, other relevant agencies, and service providers work together during times of crisis
• Emergency response contracting opportunities
• Considerations in providing disaster relief services
• How to successfully navigate the contracting process.
Ms. Abdullah has served in a number of
positions prior to her work with FEMA.
Her background is comprised of both
national and international roles, working
for numerous DoD agencies as a contract
specialist, contracts negotiator, contract
administrator, cost price analyst, and
procurement analyst over the last twenty-plus years.
