U.S. Open Spectators Use Portable
Restroom to Escape Bad Weather
Mother Nature dominated the first round of the U.S. Open on
Thursday, June 16, causing susp ended play multiple times and
eventually keeping the afternoon wave from ever teeing off.
When thunderstorms struck Thursday, everyone at the course took
shelter wherever they could find it. For some, that meant a portable
restroom . FOX Sports golf report er and former pro Robert Damron
caught a photo of some folks hiding out during the first suspension of
play in the morning.
Robert tweeted it was the "world's worst weather shelter,"
but they look pretty happy to be out of the rain!
