Electronic Voting for New PSAI Board Members is Ready to Commence! By Jeff W igley www.psai.org +1 - 952 - 854 - 8300 info@psai.org PAGE 1 CONTINUED FROM COVER… What should you expect? A paper letter will soon be delivered to your address via surface mail. Both the information contained in that communication, as well as the current and past articles in this Association In sight newsletter have all conveyed the fact that all Member Companies, in good standing, will have access to one electronic ballot. The letter that has been sent was addressed to the contact person of record that each company has provided to the PSAI Offi ce. It contains a link to the ballot, and your company's individualized ballot access code. It can only be used one time. The election will select three of the six nominees for Operator Board Members and one of the three n ominees f or Non - Operator Board Me mbers. Each company will receive the ballot for its membership type, (in other words , operators get the operator ballot, non - operators get a differ ent ballot). Once you have used your company's access code to get "into" the electronic ballot, you must com plete it at that time, as you will n ot be able to access it later. Of course the PSAI o ffice staff is always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have concerning the voting process. The voting period will be from February 4 – 28 , 2015 . Yo u can vote any time during that span of time. As anonymous votes are cast, the Nominating Committee members will monitor the results to ensure the system is working correctly. They will not be able to "change" anything they see and they are bound to secr ecy while the voting is open. After voting ends, the Nominating Committee will then verify the results and submit this information to the Board. All candidates will then be notified as to the outcome, and we will make an announcement in the Association I nsight newsletter on March 11 . Prior to the Nashville Convention, Board Policies and other training materials will be distributed to the new Board members. Once in Nashville, prior to the General Session, there will be a face - to - face orientation session w ith the existing members of the Board. This ensures that on their first day on the Board , the "rookies" will be ready to do the work of the PSAI. CONTINUED ON PAGE 2…
