World Portable Sanitation Day August 15, 2014 CONTINUED FROM COVER… PSAI Members Working Together for Good But first, let's look at how WPSD came to be in the first place. The PSAI has seen a lot of change over the last two years. One of the most positive has been the collaboration of Members who are working together to improve the image of the portable sanitation industry. In February 2013 a concer ned group of portable sanitation professionals came together to discuss the need for improved and adequate sanitation throughout the Unite d States and around the world. Through the collective efforts of this group, the 15th of August has been declared "Wor ld Portable Sanitation Day ." WPSD will be a day devoted to raising public awareness of the value and benefits that the portable sanitation industry brings to the human experience. MARK YOUR CALENDARS : World Portable Sanitation Day will be celebrated for the first time on August 15, 2014. This inaugural celebration will focus on the many ways portable sanitation protects and impacts society on a daily basis - preserving the dignity, public health, and environment worldwide. Our goal is to enlighten indivi duals globally about the need for portable sanitation, as well as to raise the public's understanding of the important role played by portable sanitation professionals worldwide. www.psai.org 800 - 822 - 3020 info@psai.org PAGE 2 Walex Products Company, Inc.
