Nuts & Bolts 2021:
The Firsts Before the Fiftieth
Last week, attendees gathered for the
first time in two years for the annual PSAI
Nuts & Bolts Educational Conference.
COVID-19 war stories and successes
were shared. Old friends caught up and
new friends were welcomed.
In a few short months, PSAI will celebrate
our 50th anniversary. Considering this
long and rich history, the PSAI is certainly
not done evolving, and this was evident
at the conference. The week was host to
several "firsts" that bode for a promising
future as we look ahead at the years to
come. Here are just a few highlights.
Debut of the Train the Trainer
Certification Course
For years, our Service Technician
Training Series has addressed the skills
for success as a portable sanitation
professional. Completion preps those
seeking to become PSAI certified.
This year's Nuts & Bolts proudly
debuted the next level: Train the Trainer.
Successful participants become certified trainers of the Service Technician Training
Series. This means they can bring the series directly to their own staff and beyond.
Congrats to our first graduating class at this year's conference!
