Rajeev Kher
Rajeev is the founder of 3S India and Sara Plast Pvt Ltd.
Launched in 2006, this environmentally conscious and highly-
educated businessperson had a mission—"to provide quality
sanitation for un-served people in India." Continuing in an
article from the Khemka Forum on Social Entrepreneurship,
his manufacturing as well as service-oriented approach to his
customer base has "created a phenomenal impact business
model which is present in numerous cities all over India."
3S India has received numerous honors and awards
throughout India and the world. Rajeev has twice attended
the Clinton Global Initiative—both times at the invitation of
former President Clinton!
I had the privilege of serving with Rajeev during his tenure on
the PSAI Board (2010–2013). He is dedicated to our industry.
Rajeev travels the world both promoting as well as learning
of the portable sanitation needs of the local population.
Rajeev Kher was instrumental in founding the Portable
Sanitation Association of India in 2017. He was able to take the
best of his PSAI experience to establish such an organization
in his home country. I am sure that Rajeev Kher will continue to
make history in our industry!
