T
he demand for portable restroom trailers is growing
dramatically. Supply is currently short, and it is important
to get the most out of every trailer you have. Even when
scarcity is not a factor, business owners want to see a strong
return on their investment in trailer equipment. In this second
installment of our trailer series, we will explain some important
tactics to help you do that. Our information comes from Tony
Watson and Anthony Heath, both currently from United Site
Services, and Bill Gibson, founder of JAG Mobile Solutions.

Got the Message? Shortages Give Us a
Chance to Reposition the Portable Sanitation
Industry

I
n recent weeks, portable
sanitation has received an
unusually high amount of
press coverage, particularly
from high-circulation news
outlets. CNN, CNN Español, and Politico (scroll down) are
among the largest, and the CNN story has been picked up
across the US by television stations (ABC News in Raleigh,
North Carolina, ABC News in Shreveport, Louisiana are two examples). Regional media
outlets have also covered stories related to the current shortage of portable sanitation
equipment and its effect on communities, customers, and event planners. From Maine
to New Hampshire to Florida to Wyoming, this issue is getting a lot of attention.
