On behalf of the members and staff of the American National Standards Institute
(ANSI), it is my pleasure to extend our congratulations to the Portable Sanitation
Association International (PSAI) in recognition of its 50
th
anniversary.
ANSI proudly applauds PSAI's accomplishments over the decades as it has served as
a beacon of information and education for the portable sanitation industry. Through the
collaborative efforts of your member companies and PSAI's mission to increase
understanding of the importance of portable sanitation in addressing global public
health challenges, and expanding and improving portable sanitation facilities
worldwide, your organization has made a critical difference in making sanitation
accessible in places where it is not otherwise available. Countless individuals around
the globe have benefitted from this work and can enjoy living in cleaner, safer
environments.
I especially want to acknowledge your work on the IWA for both the Omni-Processor
and the reinvented toilets, as well as your active participation as a member of the U.S.
TAG for PC 305 and PC 318. Your expertise, time, and service is vital to the success
and progress of this important work in the standards community.
In acknowledgement of PSAI's 50
th
anniversary, ANSI is sending a commemorative
plaque to mark the occasion. Congratulations on this significant milestone and PSAI's
numerous achievements, and thank you again for your efforts in support of ANSI and
the standardization community.
