So if you have been in the portable sanitation business for more than nine months, you've dealt with it before. This year, though, there's the added challenge of keeping all the sinks required by COVID in working order as temperatures dip. Whether we plan to get more exercise, eat more nutritiously, or explore a new hobby, we make a definitive plan. So it should be with our companies. In exploring business resolutions for 2021, we reached out to our members to see how they approach this tradition. From the feedback we received, portable sanitation firms have several categories of "new year's resolutions" related to their operations. These areas of focus generally concerned: 1. The business; 2. The employees; 3. The customers. We thank the many operators who shared their long-held business practices as well as new ideas based on their experiences in 2020 for this article.
