"Even Polilo Island in Quezon province did not survive the
ravages of Typhoon Ulysses. And in our own province of
Pampanga we also experienced severe flooding in other
municipalities.
We are fortunate because our local government immediately
became active and prepared for the arrival of the typhoon
and its devastation. Our
business is engaged in
portable toilet rental, event
management and general
services. If there is a weather
forecast for a typhoon, [we
take measures to protect our
operation and reschedule]
servicing our clients.
The roof of our office was destroyed by
the storm, but it's okay compared to others who experienced severe
flooding and other difficulties during the storm. Since the storm ended,
[we have worked on repair, and] our company also
donated 200 food packs and clothes to the victims
in Cagayan and Marikina.
As a Filipino, we call on you that if you can help
the victims of Typhoon Rolly and Ulysses to
recover, it would be most appreciated. For your
donations you can contact the Philippine Red
Cross or contact Hon. Rodel T. Espiritu, Municipal
Mayor of Jomalig, Quezon via telephone at +639178196653 or via email at
rodel_espiritu@yahoo.com.
As a member of [the PSAI] organization, I am very
grateful for the early response to my request for
help for my countrymen.
Thank you very much,
Jennylee Soliman
