Have you ever cringed when watching an employee
interact with others? Had a longtime supervisor tell you
about how the "new guy" is flopping with the rest of
the team because he's just so annoying? Taken a call
from a customer who said your technician managed to
offend several workers on the job site while pumping
units and cleaning hand wash stations?
It's no fun to employ somebody who rubs people
the wrong way. Maybe the person talks too much,
interrupts, or acts like a know-it-all. Maybe he criticizes
others, sticks his nose in places it doesn't belong,
or constantly makes excuses while blaming others. It really doesn't matter. As the leader, you know you have to
address the issue, but how?

Last week, voters in
Arizona, Montana, New
Jersey and South Dakota
approved measures
that will legalize the
recreational use of
cannabis (also known
as marijuana or pot) for
adults. Mississippi voters
also approved a measure that legalizes cannabis for
medicinal purposes.
Just eight years ago, recreational cannabis was illegal in all 50 states, and use of medical marijuana was rare. In
2012, that began to change when Colorado and Washington legalized marijuana for recreational use.
