Virtual Conference Registration 101…continued from page 8
I explain how staff members can create individual
accounts in the October 14th Association Insight.
So, let us look instead at how the primary contact, or
anyone else with management access on their PSAI
account, can add individual accounts for people.
Using my "test" company again, Emily Queen
navigates to her Member Compass by logging in, or,
if she's already logged in by clicking on her name in
the upper-right corner of the screen. She then clicks
the Staff tab to find that only one team member has
created an account. She wants to register two employees, so she clicks the button to Add Staff.
After she added her second staff person by simply
entering the first and last name and email address,
she navigated back to the event page to register
both employees. This is done by clicking the
calendar icon again, or by clicking on your My
Events tab if you are already registered for the event
and clicking on the event from there.
It is possible to register everyone at one time
by entering the number of tickets you wish to
"purchase" in the quantity box. The system will
automatically create the number of forms you need
to complete your registration. For example, now
that Emily Queen has created individual accounts
for both of her employees, she can register both of
them at once by entering a "2" in the ticket quantity
box, and then typing their names until they appear
in the drop-down menus of the two registration
forms that appeared.
The total came to $480 dollars. But once Emily entered in the event promo code provided to her by the PSAI staff,
her total changed to $0. It matters not how many you register at one time; the promo code will still work for you.
