ASSOCIATIONINSIGHT Portable Sanitation Association International News BIWEEKLY EDITION OCTOBER 28, 2020 Page 16 John Harper: In Memoriam John Harper, longtime owner of Port-A-Jon in Texas and Louisiana (and a PSAI member), passed away last month at the age of 69. He died at home in Jefferson, Texas. In addition to owning and running Port-A-Jon for more than 26 years, John was a dedicated father and grandfather who served on the school board for both Jefferson Academy and the Cypress Bend Elementary schools. Active in the Jefferson Academy Seventh Day Adventist Church, John was a Pathfinder leader for more than 20 years. Away from work and church, John was an avid reader and loved to go fishing. He also enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and spending time with his donkeys. Preceded in death by his parents, John is survived by his wife, Gloria, his three adult children, three brothers, four grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Rest in peace, John Harper. v
