ASSOCIATIONINSIGHT Portable Sanitation Association International News BIWEEKLY EDITION SEPTEMBER 16, 2020 Page 2 Virtual Educational Conference and Trade Show Schedule…continued from page 1 Here's what you need to know. • In a virtual world, it is easier than ever for you and your entire staff to attend. We have designed this event so there is something for everyone, and it couldn't be more affordable. Check the sidebar below for details. • This is not a Zoom meeting. The platform will have a whole different look and feel—as close to a trade show experience as you can get without actually being there. • Our educational content is factual and informative—not commercial. It's the best information you can get about how to carry out important tasks and strategies in the portable sanitation business. No other organization offers this kind of content. • The virtual exhibit hall is not a glorified website. While you can't physically "kick the tires," you can come as close to the equipment as possible in an online environment and you can learn a lot from the folks who build it. The exhibitors are excited to meet you and taking the time to visit them ensures you are eligible for excellent prizes. We certainly hope you and your team will attend as much of the event as possible. The more you attend "live and in person" the more you'll learn and the better your experience will be. But we get it. Because you aren't traveling out of town for this event, you'll also be running your business while the Conference and Trade Show is going on. So the beauty of this set up is that you can come and go, attending the sessions and trade show at times that are convenient for you. We'll be putting out lots more information about this event in the coming weeks. Watch your email, upcoming newsletters, social media, and—starting October 1—our website for more details. We can't wait to see you [virtually] there! v Quick Facts about the Virtual Convention and Trade Show • Registration opens October 1, 2020. At that time the web page and other supporting information will be available. • If you registered and paid for the Baltimore event, this event is free to you AND to everyone at your company. • If you did not register for Baltimore, no worries. Register beginning October 1 and your whole company attends for one flat fee. You can also use your class passes to access this event for your team without paying cash for anything. • Each person at your company who plans to attend must register separately, with a separate e-mail, to get their own access link to the meeting platform. • Don't worry if the scheduled times aren't great for you or your team—we know time zones complicate things. You can: » Make appointments to meet with exhibitors at other times. » View recordings of the education sessions for up to a month after the event. • Exhibitor playgrounds and the Innovation Forum give you a chance to learn about companies, have fun, and maybe win some prizes. Education credits are not available for these sessions. • If you are an exhibitor, check your email for a separate communication regarding the event from Todd Ginter, and plan to attend the exhibitor meeting at 11:00 Central on September 30 where we'll cover everything you need to know to be successful in the virtual environment. • Do your best to be there as much as you can. You'll learn more, have a better experience and be in the running to win more… • Prizes! Prizes! Prizes!
