ASSOCIATIONINSIGHT Portable Sanitation Association International News BIWEEKLY EDITION JUNE 24, 2020 Page 15 Continued on page 20 Update on Reno and Memphis By Todd Ginter, PSAI's Director of Marketing If you are reading this article on June 24, that means we are just 153 days from the start of the combined PSAI Convention and Trade Show and Nuts & Bolts event in Reno, Nevada. This combined event is scheduled to take place November 17–20. In case you missed the information we supplied in March, here's why we've combined the two events. Just three weeks before our Convention and Trade Show in Baltimore was scheduled to start, the Governor of Maryland canceled all large events in the state due to concerns about COVID-19. The PSAI made the decision soon after to combine the Convention and Trade Show with our Nuts & Bolts Educational Conference into one spectacular event this November in Reno. We are extremely excited about the Reno event because we have missed seeing our Members in person! We have also planned one of the most robust and exciting Conventions in history and we are excited for you to experience what is in store. Something else we are very excited about is the trade show. At the time of the postponement in March, every available spot had been reserved. Every Member business that had reserved space will be in Reno and will be as excited as ever to show off what they have. There are of course a lot of details we still need to get out to everyone about the combined event—everything from hotel information to seminars to educational programs. We will be providing all of that soon. In the meantime, we hope you will be clearing your schedule to join us, along with your portable sanitation colleagues, at this unique show. With both events combined, this is an event you do not want to miss! One thing you should keep in mind with our upcoming events is that the 2021 Convention and Trade Show will be earlier in the calendar than in the past. Usually held in late March, our next event after Reno in November will be the Convention and Trade Show held the first week of February in Memphis, Tennessee. While we are very excited for these upcoming events and very much hope to see as many of you as possible, we understand we are living in different times. The PSAI holds these events and we work very hard to put them on to better serve all of our supplier and operator Members. These events are for you, our Members, to help you grow and make your businesses thrive. Whether you gain value from educational seminars, networking, or learning about products at the trade show, we know how important attending these events can be. Because of this, we have a responsibility to present the best and most useful show we can.
