As an "essential industry," our portable restroom
service has been unwavering during this worldwide
pandemic. Route service technicians, pickup and
delivery technicians, and other support in the field
have been doing what our industry has continued
to do since its inception in the 1940s—provide quality service in the delivery, service, and pickup of units, tanks,
trailers, and sinks.
Not to be overlooked or outdone, the administrative part of our business has made incredible sacrifices during
this time with one goal in mind: to continue to provide world-class customer service during this busy, chaotic, and
uncertain time. Whether working from home, coming to the office for brief periods both before and after normal
business hours, adapting technology for use outside of the office, or maintaining communication with customers
and co-workers remotely, operations have continued to function and to succeed in servicing customers.

Will Liability Waivers Protect My Business
in the Age of COVID-19?
By Karleen Kos, PSAI Executive Director
Your service technicians spend their
days pumping waste and cleaning
units used by strangers whose
health is unknown. Meanwhile, an
infectious disease expert warns
sewage is "chock-full of the virus"
and the CDC issues notices about
how easily it spreads.
An employee is nervous about returning to the office because
you "aren't doing enough to keep everyone safe." Your customer
seems to be a little too laid back when you explain why they need
increased service and more hand washing capacity. You worry
someone will get sick with COVID-19 and blame your company. What can you do?
