Portable Sanitation and COVID-19
—The Latest
By Karleen Kos, PSAI Executive Director
These are unprecedented times. COVID-19 is sweeping the world, and portable
sanitation companies are on both the front lines and the first line back, doing their
best to serve
customers and the
public.
The information
that follows on the
next few pages is correct as of Tuesday, March 17,
2020. The PSAI will issue periodic email updates
throughout this challenging time. We also invite all
Member companies to join us weekly on Thursdays
at 12 noon central time for a virtual roundtable
discussion. Register weekly here.

Adjusting in the Face of
Business Slowdowns
By Karleen Kos, PSAI Executive Director
COVID-19—with its attendant event cancellations, work
stoppages, and social distancing—is already affecting

are opportunities too (few companies have enough
handwashing stations at the moment), it appears that our
industry should expect some negative impacts from its
bread and butter accounts for at least a few months.
While not many people could have predicted the economic
fallout from the current COVID-19 pandemic, the fact is that every boom cycle in history has sooner or later ended.
