A new portable sanitation owner, a fellow still learning the ropes b ut pretty sure he didn't need anyone's
help, was driving his first truck down the road.
As luck would have it, he soon had a flat tire on the highway. The driver eased the truck over to the
shoulder of the road and got out. He then carefully took out two cardboard men, unfolded them and
stood them at the rear of the truck facing on - coming traffic. They looked so lifelike you wouldn't believe
it! They were dressed in open trench coats that exposed their nude bodies and private parts to the
approaching driv ers.
Cars started slowing down to look at the cardboard cutouts. And, of course, traffic began backing up.
Everybody honked their horns and waved like crazy. It wasn't long before a state trooper pulled up
behind the truck with the flat. He got out of his car and walked towards the owner. It was obvious the
trooper was not in a good mood.
"What's going on here?" he demanded.
"My truck has a flat tire," the new owner said calmly.
"Well, what are those obscene cardboard men doing
here by the road?" the tr ooper wanted to know.
The know - it - all owner couldn't believe the trooper didn't
know.
"Well, those are my emergency flashers!"
