Big Money for Portable Sanitation
Los Angeles streets have the second largest population of
people experiencing homelessness in America today. LA
country recently took bids to find out how much it would cost
the city to provide portable sanitation for the increasing
number of homeless individuals coming to the city.
Politicians were stunned by the quotes they received to
provide toilets and showers for every homeless encampment
in town. What do you think about these estimates?

A Call for Effective Sanitation
Access to proper sanitation in Nigeria has been on the
decline since the year 2000. Around 50 million people
routinely defecate in open areas, which are known to cause
waterborne diseases, preventable deaths, and hinder
education and economic growth. Many community-lead
sanitation efforts have shown promise, but there is still a lot
of work that needs to be done. Do you think portable
sanitation could help solve this crisis?

Overturned Pumper Leads to DUI
California Highway Patrol officers in Stockton found an overturned
pumper truck on the side of the road. The vehicle was so badly damaged
that its contents spilled all over the street. Officers suspected the driver
was under the influence and crashed the truck after drifting off the road.
Highway Patrol officers rushed to social media to post the details with
#crappysituation. At least they had a sense of humor about it.
