W EEKLY EDITION MAY 1, 2019 Past President Dwayne Siegmann Named Honorary PSAI Member By Craig Robert Marson, PSAI Communications Manger Like most nonprofit organizations, the PSAI relies on the participation of volunteers to ensure success in all areas of its operation s . Every so often, a Member goes above - and - beyond what's expected of them in their volunteer duties, and Dwayne Siegmann is one of those Members. The PSAI Board recently passed a unanimous resolution to name Siegmann an Honorary Member as a way to thank him fo r his years of outstanding work and facilitate his ongoing commitment to service on the PSAI Certification Commission. Dwayne Siegmann has shared his experience with us in many different roles during his years with the PSAI. Siegmann has been a part of the Member Board of Directors for the PSAI since 2013 and served as vice president in 2016, and president in 2017. Siegmann has also contributed to the PSAI by supporting many different panels and committees including the Nominating Committee; International Advisory Committee; Awards Committee; and the Information, Education a nd Advocacy (EI) Committee. He was also a Subject Matter Expert during the period of updating the PSAI Certification Program, and he now serves on the Certification Commission. The PSAI Board of Directors works to ensure the ethical, financial and legal h ealth of the organization while also acting as the authority on its future goals and interests. Dwayne Siegmann's work in all of these areas has helped the PSAI become the success it is today. Although he sold his business at the end of 2016, Dwayne has re mained involved in the portable sanitation industry and active in the PSAI. We hop e naming Dwayne Siegmann as an Honorary M ember shows just how much we appreciate all he has done for the Association. - CRM P AGE 3
