18 2019 INDUSTRY RESOURCE DIRECTORY Portable sanitation companies are located throughout the United States, as shown in the chart below and on the page that follows. As previously explained, there is no worldwide entity that collects data for the portable sanitation industry. This can be attributed to the relatively small size of the portable sanitation industry (likely between 0.01% and 0.03% of the global economy), in comparison to industries for which aggregated data are kept. Limitations of various governmental reporting schemes also contribute to the dearth of available data. Due to these factors, we cannot show a similar chart for the size and scope of the portable sanitation industry worldwide.
