W EEKLY EDITION JANUARY 30, 2019 The 2019 PSAI Scholarship Program Will Kick Off February 1! Up to five students will receive $5,000 scholarship awards for the 2019 - 2020 academic year Each year the PSAI awards scholarships to individuals in our industry who have m ade a commitment to advancing themselves through higher education. Since the program's founding in 2004, over 100 college students have received scholarship funds totaling over $300,000! Qualified incoming freshmen and current college undergraduates who ar e employees or immediate family members of employees of a PSAI member company in good standing are encouraged to apply. Be sure to share this information with your family and company team! Applications will be accepted from February 1, 2019 to March 15, 2019. Check back next week for links to the application and for more information! To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:* • Must be an employee of a PSAI member company, or the child or spouse of a full - time employee who has been wit h the Member company for at least two years • High school senior or college undergraduate enrolled full time at a four - year or two - year college, vocational or technical school. • GPA of 3.0 or above (official transcript required). • Six semester hours are requ ired for full - time employees of portable restroom companies attending school with part - time student status. • A minimum SAT score of 1000, ACT score of 21, or country equivalent. • Submit an essay on the importance and value of portable sanitation.
