At the Expo's opening session Wednesday, PSAI Executive Director Karleen Kos (left front table) explained the PSAI's role in setting national and international standards f or portable sanitation. PSAI's letters to event planners in Columbia for Pope Francis' 2017 visit and our Missouri study data -- research - based tables showing the minimum number of units needed for large crowds -- are just two ways the Association works wi th Members in South America to help increase understanding and improve conditions in those markets. While the show was open, numerous PSAI volunteers spent time in our booth talking with interested visitors. We owe an enormous debt of gratitude to Gab y Garcia (left) and Jennifer Corrigan (right) from JW Craft Portable Restrooms who assisted in the booth for the duration of the show. Gaby also served as a Spanish interpreter, assisting us in getting to know our visitors better. Muchas gracias , Gaby! For mer Board Member Corey Morton from Walex (center) also stopped by to see how things were going. An important benefit of the PSAI's collaboration was the chance to deliver five hours of portable sanitation - specific training to new audiences attending the s how.
