Portable Units Crucial in the City of Angels Los Angeles looks to continue a program to help homeless people A Los Angeles City Council committee has recommended that a mobile restroom program be extended for nearly one year and that the city explore the possibility of expanding it to new locations, reports MyNewsLA.com. The program was approved in late 2017 in reaction to the outbreak of hepatitis A in the city and other parts of the state among the homeless population.
